Volt Harbor is a venture-backed deep tech startup based in Michigan. We’re building a universal hardware and storage platform for powering data centers from the grid with a considerable advantage in cost, performance, reliability, and time to delivery and deployment. At Volt Harbor, we’re a small team tackling a bold technical challenge: making energy delivery and storage radically better. You will work independently while collaborating with other members of our team. If you're excited by tough problems, fast cycles, and building something that matters that is a real commercial product broadly used in the industry— we want you on our team.
Volt Harbor is looking for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to help lead the development of our core power electronics and hardware platform. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll design and build hardware that directly enables our energy systems—from concept to field deployment. Your work will span hardware design, control systems design and implementation, and system-level integration with embedded and battery systems. This is a hands-on engineering role with high autonomy and direct impact to our core technology.
This role is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. On-site presence is required.
